The building is located in the neighborhood of La Barceloneta, characterized by its narrow layout with narrow and elongated streets, in a privileged position. It is a building on the seafront, located on one of the most emblematic streets, not only of the neighborhood but also of the city. Its west facade has views of the port of Barcelona and the Montjuïc mountain. The opposite facade opens with balconies to a more private, quiet and quiet side of Barceloneta. This orientation has been taken into account when proposing the new internal distribution.

Currently, the plans have a symmetrical configuration, with two units each floor, with vertical connection in the center and three ventilation patios distributed throughout the length of the central axis. Vertical communication is carried out with an elevator of very small dimensions which doesn’t answer to the demand of the occupation.

The premises currently occupy the basement, reserving an area for the transformer station, the ground floor and the mezzanine floor. The building does not have community spaces as a space for storing bicycles which will be incorporated in the proposal.
